From the first hieroglyphics carved in stone to the digital technology of our
days the written language and, therefore, the book have played a social, political
role and economic power station in the development of our culture.
Without them the pyramids of Gizeh nor the ships manned to the interstellar
space like either the partner-political revolutions had not been possible neither.
Nevertheless, an analytical development has been this one by which we have arrived
at a point in which great amount of specialized knowledge exists to which a
few only have access giving rise thus to a social and personal fracture of which
we can be cured if along with the analytical aspect we take care of the aspect
synthetic of our cultural development. In this context we are a group interested
in making of the edition and book sale an activity that contributes to the integral
formation of the contemporary man so that the scientific and humanistic aspects
of our culture stop being alternative excluding like life projects and thus
to advance in the construction of a society in which, for example, the poetry
and history have as much importance as the invention of a machine or the construction
of a building. For it we try that this space is not reduced to a great book
catalogue of which every one can choose those that needs or wants but that it
presents/displays them in a scheme within as the place can be appraised that
each type of knowledge or discipline occupies in the intelligible totality.
Let us think that, this way the construction of sense for our lives and our
history is facilitated generating, on the one hand, identity bonds that allow
us to surpass the individualismo when leaving, thus, to confuse it with our
individuality or personality and, by another one the conscience of which the
universe is not a finished reality that we can destroy but a project of whose
destiny we are invited to comprise like constructors.
